March 26

— BAGHDAD (Reuters) - An air raid on Baghdad hit a busy market in the north of the city on Wednesday, causing "many, many casualties," an Iraqi information ministry official said.

The official said journalists would be shown the site of the blast later in the day. U.S. and British planes and missiles have pounded the Iraqi capital since the start of the war on Thursday.
